About the Design

Stepped out my back door to capture the sunrise and was treated to a mule deer who couldn't manage

to get over the fence into my fresh veggies!

This dude thinks my raised bed gardens are his personal salad bar. Does make great Christmas card photos in winter snow, but I kind of prefer he stay on the other side of the fence. When I first snapped this photo, I thought I would just Photoshop out the fence for a great sunrise silhouette. But while playing with the sunrise colors, I decided the fence makes great, easy and super-fast crosshatch quilting lines! I might still take out the fence one day, but for right now, I think this will make such a cute lap quilt! This is not a continuous design. It is intended to be a quilt cheater panel.
