About the Design

A digital filter adds texture to ZBD11 Zigzag Digital Batik. It is then converted to a mirror

image with a very rococo attitude.

For this particular design I highly recommend that you order a test swatch, printed on the fabric you intend to use. On the Petal Signature Cotton it printed as orange on a pastel sage green. Always keep in mind that computer monitors do not all display colors the same! Color also varies depending on what fabric you use. Synthetics generally produce a brighter result than cotton. If you would like this in a different size, just ask. I see thig design being used for all types of upholstery, and home decor projects. I also think it makes a smashing accent wall! It's a combo of something old (that rococo attitude) and something new, the hot, bright color scheme. The tracery of the design rather reminds me of smocking so I also envision it used as the bodice of a dress, perhaps with a coordinating design or solid for the skirt. Color Notes: I had my test swatch printed on Petal Signature Cotton. The lighter color was more like a turquoise in my sample as opposed to the aqua I see on my computer screen. I see both blue and purple in the darker areas. TEST SWATCHES are always a GOOD IDEA as computer monitors do not all display colors the same. Color also varies depending on what fabric you use. Synthetics generally produce a brighter result than cotton. Copyright - Mary Beglau Wykes - May 21, 2020
