Kalgoorlie-Boulder is one of Australia's smallest cities, with a population of approximately 31,000. It was founded during the West Australian Gold Rush and the Super Pit is still producing gold, which forms the basis of the city's economy. It is placed in the middle of the Great Western Woodlands (not, as many imagine, in the desert), and some iconic local wildlife and landscape is included on this fabric. This fabric is part of a set, designed to co-ordinate with my Cycling fabrics. Legal disclaimer: the map included on this fabric has insufficient detail for navigation purposes. In places information has been omitted or slightly altered for aesthetics. Please do not rely on this map.
