Kyōto, so many adventures and memories.
I have the best memories of my 5-month stay in this tiny apartment in Kyōto. I had the time to see the blossoms bloom all over Kyoto, learn to eat persimmon, watch all the amazing gardens with koi carp in the pond, sample sake, eat the best vegetables every day, take some onigiri with me on the train and take a hot or cold sencha in a tea house. At the main street of Kyoto, you can find all these red lanterns with an iconic plover bird painted on them. In Japanese, these birds are called chi-dori. It is one of my favourite iconic images from Japan. As well as the 'usagi' which means bunny. I was born in the year of the bunny, so that is maybe why I like it so much. Kyōto, I miss you almost every day.
