About this design:
This past May, Spoonflower celebrated its 8 year anniversary as a business empowering individuals to design and print their own fabric and papers. According to modern tradition, the customary “gift” for an 8 year anniversary is linen & lace. Well that got us thinking, what about lace on linen? Or better yet… on gift wrap! Entires will be previewed on an 8" x 8" test swatch size and should repeat.
Details
Gear up for the holiday season with a lace inspired design that would look great on a roll of gift wrap. One popularly voted grand-prize winner will receive $200 in Spoonflower credit. The rest of the top 10 winners each week will receive $20.00 in Spoonflower credit. The top 25 popularly voted designs (provided the designers are already verified sellers) will be automatically made available for sale in the Marketplace where they will receive 10% commission on every sale — no $5.00 swatch required! In addition to cash prizes, the top 10 will receive additional exposure in our email newsletters, professional photography of their printed designs, and social media mentions.

- Designs will be viewed as a Swatch of Fabric on the voting ballot. Acceptable repeat options for this challenge are Basic, Half-Drop, Half-Brick, Mirror, Center.
- Public designs previously uploaded on Spoonflower.com are not eligible for this contest. Designs do not require printed proofing to enter the contest.
- The popular vote determines the top 10 winning designs. Voters include Spoonflower artists and customers as well as the public.
