Spoonflower Design Challenge: December 01, 2010
Stephanie Devino, who is relatively new to Spoonflower and still in art school, has managed to pull off her second Fabric Of the Week win in a row for our candles-themed contest. Either she has a special talent for holiday-themed fabric designs or she's well on her way to becoming one of our all-time champs. Way to go, Steph! Impressive. Upcoming contests
Midsummer nights dream (palette-restricted)
With summer solstice arriving on June 21, we decided to make this contest all about fabric designs inspired by Shakespeare's play, Midsummer Night's Dream. All designs submitted must use a restricted palette (visible here). Previews will be shown at the fat quarter fabric size (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
Citrus fruits
The theme this time around is fairly simple: create a fabric design built around the visual motif of citrus fruits (one or more). Previews will be shown at the fat quarter fabric size (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
Picnics
This week's design challenge is to create a picnic-themed fabric design. Previews will be shown at the fat quarter fabric size (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 2nd, 2013.
Horses
This week we invite designers to create horse-themed fabrics. Contest previews will be shown at the fat quarter fabric size (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 9th, 2013.
