Participants in our most recent contest were asked to create patterns for masks (or similar headgear) that could be made in time for Halloween. The winner -- and this is her second trip to the podium, having won our windows & doors contest previously -- is Dutch illustrator Deborah van de Leijgraaf. Her 'Funny Black Cat Mask' won the most votes in a field of brilliant entries. The house favorite, however, was an entry by SammyK for a pair of new superheroes, Spoon & Flower, whose exploits we like to think have just begun. This week we will be voting on collections from the Fabric8 finalists.
We love gardening, and there's nothing that delights us more than our little herb plants! We love picking a few fresh mint leaves or rosemary sprigs with our own hands and adding them straight to a pitcher of iced tea or a bowl of pasta. This week, create a fabric design that celebrates the traditional herb garden. Previews will be sized as quarter yards (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014.
Match point! Create a fabric design that celebrates the sport of tennis. Previews will be sized as quarter yards (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 29th, 2014.
Instructions and rules for our weekly fabric design contests appear on our upcoming contests page .
