Gardening tools Designs

Spoonflower Design Challenge: April 17, 2013

With spring gardening season in full swing -- here in North Carolina, at any rate -- this week designers competed to create fabric designs featuring gardening tools. From a very strong field, ten terrific designs made it to the top ten. The winner is first-timer Alisse Courter. Congratulations, Alisse! For one week only, be sure to check out our bundle of fat quarters featuring all of the top ten gardening tool fabrics for a special price.

Herb garden

We love gardening, and there's nothing that delights us more than our little herb plants! We love picking a few fresh mint leaves or rosemary sprigs with our own hands and adding them straight to a pitcher of iced tea or a bowl of pasta. This week, create a fabric design that celebrates the traditional herb garden. Previews will be sized as quarter yards (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014.

Match point! Create a fabric design that celebrates the sport of tennis. Previews will be sized as quarter yards (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 29th, 2014.

Instructions and rules for our weekly fabric design contests appear on our upcoming contests page .
