The winner of the ditsy sea creatures fabric design contest is Roz Robinson, a geologist and mom who also apparently dabbles (quite well!) in fabric design. Her "Ammonite Ditsy Print" has the virtue, one can assume, of being scientifically accurate as well as lovely! Ditsy prints are great for apparel, so we're hoping to see some great project photos over the next few weeks. We love gardening, and there's nothing that delights us more than our little herb plants! We love picking a few fresh mint leaves or rosemary sprigs with our own hands and adding them straight to a pitcher of iced tea or a bowl of pasta. This week, create a fabric design that celebrates the traditional herb garden. Previews will be sized as quarter yards (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014.
Match point! Create a fabric design that celebrates the sport of tennis. Previews will be sized as quarter yards (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 29th, 2014.
Back to school already? This week create a design depicting the most necessary school accessory--the trusty backpack. Previews will be sized as quarter yards (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, August 5th, 2014.
Instructions and rules for our weekly fabric design contests appear on our upcoming contests page .
