While graffiti can be either hideous or sublime -- depending on the artist, context and predisposition of the viewer -- I expect everyone who looks at this week's top ten will agree that it makes for an interesting theme for fabrics. The winner is the inspiring team behind TheBoerWar, Mathew and Mattea den Boer of Toronto. This is the couple's second win (the coffee contest was their first), but if you follow our contests you will certainly have seen and admired their work before today. Congrats! Read more about Graffiti Fabric Contest Winner.
This week we will be voting on collections from the Fabric8 finalists.
We love gardening, and there's nothing that delights us more than our little herb plants! We love picking a few fresh mint leaves or rosemary sprigs with our own hands and adding them straight to a pitcher of iced tea or a bowl of pasta. This week, create a fabric design that celebrates the traditional herb garden. Previews will be sized as quarter yards (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014.
Match point! Create a fabric design that celebrates the sport of tennis. Previews will be sized as quarter yards (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, July 29th, 2014.
Instructions and rules for our weekly fabric design contests appear on our upcoming contests page .
