Spoonflower Design Challenge: September 28, 2011
The winner of our contest to design patterns for Jack O 'Lantern-themed plushie toys and pillows is longtime Spoonflower member, but first-time winner, Michelle Cavigliano, an illustrator from Brooklyn, New York. Her terrific Cutie-Cat Pumpkin pillow pattern won the most votes this time around -- congratulations, Michelle! You can't resist the urge to curl up with a nice, soft gourd, so you're fortunate that all of the top ten patterns are now available for sale! Midsummer nights dream (palette-restricted)
With summer solstice arriving on June 21, we decided to make this contest all about fabric designs inspired by Shakespeare's play, Midsummer Night's Dream. All designs submitted must use a restricted palette (visible here). Previews will be shown at the fat quarter fabric size (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
Citrus fruits
The theme this time around is fairly simple: create a fabric design built around the visual motif of citrus fruits (one or more). Previews will be shown at the fat quarter fabric size (21" x 18"). Deadline for entry is Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
Picnics
