Collection designs are inspired by the frescoes, tile work, mosaics, and famous pottery of that ancient Indus River Valley city in Pakistan, Multan. Multani pottery and decorative masonry work on Mughal era and Islamic architecture are renowned for their saturated colors, particularly blues and greens. Motifs include floral patterns, trees, vines, fruit, and geometric shapes, as well as sweeping calligraphy. Multani blue pottery and tiles remind me of the Delft blue earthenware in Holland, the cobalt blue tiles of Turkey, and glazed ceramics of Italy: if you are attracted to any of these colors and motifs, then I think you will enjoy my Multani fabrics.
