Call it camel, taupe, sand, fawn, it's still beige. Beige can be viewed as bland and boring, or it can be viewed as a relaxing neutral color. When working on a cocktail fabric design, I thought back to the 1950s and remembered the colors of my aunt's October wedding in which I was a flower girl. My dress was beige. Beige was big back in the 1950s. While I didn't do a cocktail dress design in beige, I did do some studies in beige.
